Rom Info Pane
Another major feature of Rominator is the Rom Info Pane. This will tell you everything about the selected game, from the cartridge code, right down to the languages the game supports. To get information about a game click on the game and click on the box art in the Organizer Window, or under the Tools menu choose Get Info (Cmd or Ctrl + I), or if you have your Toolbar customized to have the ‘Get Info’ button, you can click that too.

Any one of these areas will take you to the Rom Info Pane. Below is the Pane as well as the details about it.
![]() | Game Information: Displays the name of your game, as well as the size is takes up on the hard drive and the size it would be if it were trimmed. Box Art: Displays a larger box art for the selected game. Detailed Information: All of the game details are shown here. As the picture shows, you can see information such as the release number, internal game name, genre, game publisher, as well as the calculated CRC32 checksum, for determining if a game is valid. This example shows no CRC32 as the game has not been validated. Also, if the game can connect to Nintendo WiFi Connection, the WiFi logo will show beside WiFi. Languages: All of the languages that the selected game supports will be bolded, and the rest will be disabled. This is especially helpful if you are looking for a game that has a certain language in it, if it has multiple languages. Note that there are disclosure triangles beside each subheading. Clicking on these will collapse that group of details. Your preference of what details are shown are automatically saved so you do not need to change this every time. |
