Using Rominator

Below is a detailed explanation of the layout of the Organizer Window
2_0_0

A - Game List Buttons. There are three buttons in this area (2 are currently not visible) -- Add Game List, Delete Game List, and Refresh Game List. Delete and Refresh Game List buttons are only visible when a game list is selected.

B - Background Task Progress. Here the progress and action being performed in the background is shown here. Examples of background tasks would be when checking for updates, updating the DS Database, or renaming games.

C - Find Field. When in a game list, whatever you are looking for you can type in this field and then press the ‘Enter’ or ‘Return’ key. It will populate the Rom List with only the games that contained the field contents.

D - Toolbar Toggle. This button will show or hide the Toolbar in Mac OS X. On Windows XP or Vista, the option to show or hide the Toolbar is in the Tools menu.

E - Game Lists. The created game lists and mounted flash cards will be displayed here.

F - Rom List. All of the games from the selected game list will be displayed here.

G - Box Art Display. The Box Art for the selected game will be displayed here. If no box art for the selected game has been retrieved yet, it will automatically be downloaded. Also, clicking on this box will bring up the Rom Info display.

H - Message Bar. Almost everything you do will show a message as a response to your action. If the response has a Green shadow, then it is a good response. If it has a Red shadow, then something bad has happened and your hard drive will explode. Just kidding.
