Save Data Manager
Added into Rominator v2008.13 is a fully featured Save Data Manager. What this will allow you to do is:
- Easily list all of the games with save data profiles
- Browse through existing save games
- Rename, transfer, move, delete, or export existing save games
- Import save games for any game through drag & drop

Every game that has been added into Rominator at some point will show up in this list, even if there is no save games backed up for the game. If there are many games in the list and you’d like to quickly jump to one, simply start typing the name of the game and it will jump right to it. Each game will show the flag of the country that the game is from, but many games will contain a blue flag with an ‘M’ on it -- This is because there are multiple versions of that game for different regions, and Rominator will only list one.
How To:
- Add a Game to the list: Click on the Add Game button. It will present you with a list of every game. To quickly find a game, simply start typing the name of it and it will take you right to it.
- Remove a Game: Hilight a game on the left and click the ‘Remove Game’ button. If there is no saves for the selected game, it will be immediately removed without any questions... If saves *do* exist though, you will be promted to confirm that you want to delete that game, because after deleting the save profile, the deleted saves are not recoverable.
- Rename a Save: Click on a save game after you’ve selected a save profile, and click the ‘Rename’ button. Alternatively, double click on a save game. Your operating system naming rules apply.
- Delete Saves: You can hilight as many (or as little) saves as you want in the right, and then click the ‘Delete’ save button. Alternatively, press the ‘Backspace’ or ‘Delete’ key on your keyboard. There will be no confirmation when deleting individual saves, so be careful.
- Import Save Games from the Finder or Windows Explorer: Select a game from the Game Profiles list, and then from the Finder [Mac OS X] or Windows Explorer [Windows] simply drag and drop the save game onto the Save Game List on the right. It will be imported for use in that game.
- Export Save Games: Select the save games you want to export to a specified location and press the ‘Export Save’ button.
- Move saves from one game to another: Select the saves you want to move, and drag & drop them onto the desired game in the Game Profiles list.
- Copy saves from one game to another: Same method as moving the save games, except you will hold the Option key [Mac OS X] or Control key [Windows] when dropping the game onto another game. Instead of moving the save game, a copy to the dropped game will be made.
